MY PERSONAL STATEMENT
I graduated with a BA in Psychology in June 2011 from Hunter College, and will soon be beginning my PhD. in Clinical Psychology. I spent this year working on a research project at Columbia University and teaching dance to elementary school children. I have been a tutor for almost eight years, and have worked with elementary, high school, and college students. I especially enjoy helping students with standardized exams such as the SAT, ACT, and GRE. Not only can I help with problem solving strategies, but I can also work with students to ease testing anxiety. Using my fluency in Greek, I help students boost their verbal section scores by teaching them common Greek word roots.
