I'm a trilingual young professional with a life-long passion for education. I received my bachelor's degree, highest honors, in Biomedical Engineering from Georgia Tech, and afterward I taught biology and Mandarin Chinese at an independent boarding school in north Georgia and at a state-funded summer program in New Hampshire. I speak English, Mandarin Chinese, and Spanish. I love to learn new things, and I love to help other people learn as well. I strive to help all students reach their potential so that they can have the opportunity to impact the world in a positive way of their own making.

I believe that it is vital for people of all ages to be well-rounded and well-traveled in order to gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of the world. I have a scientific mind and outlook, but I also enjoy experiencing and creating all forms of art, especially music and cinema. I played violin and piano for several years (and still do), and I have traveled all over the world. Most recently, I backpacked through western Europe, visiting six countries along the way. I have also studied abroad in China and attended summer programs in Taiwan.
