I am an early business and life science professional in San Diego. Originally I'm from Kiev, Ukraine but moved to San Francisco when I was fairly young. For my undergraduate education, I earned a Bioengineering (Biotechnology) degree from UC San Diego and then earned a Master's of Bioscience degree in two focus tracks: Bioprocessing and Business of Bioscience. My graduate education took place at the Keck Graduate Institute of Applied Life Sciences in Claremont, CA (part of the Claremont College consortium).

Most math and science coursework was fairly simple for me to understand all throughout high school, college and ultimately graduate school. On numerous occasions, during my educational years, I ended up explaining and simplifying the majority of the mathematical or scientific material because our professors were usually too technically oriented.

Currently, I mentor start-up companies in areas of Life Science, CleanTech, Software, and even a new school on identifying their most appropriate business model, figuring out their marketing strategies and cleaning up their financial projects to ultimately seek investments.
