MY PERSONAL STATEMENT
I am a high school science teacher at Pattonville High School. I have an undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Missouri Columbia and a masters and teaching certification from Lindenwood University.
I teach chemistry, honors chemistry, physical science, and earth science. I am currently finishing my seventh year of teaching and I really find myself enjoying the art of teaching. I deal with a wide spectrum of students who learn new material in a variety of different ways. As a teacher who observes students struggle with difficult concepts, I have been able to adapt my teaching/tutoring to really fit the needs of the student. I am confident that I can help any child achieve mastery of a difficult concept, if given the chance to work one on one with that student.
When I am not teaching or working, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I truly enjoy life as it comes to me and try to take advantage of the beauty of the outdoors when I get a chance. I also enjoy running, hiking, camping, and fishing.
