MY PERSONAL STATEMENT
I’m a graduate student at San Diego State University studying rhetoric and writing, and specializing in the teaching of writing. Currently, I also teach an undergraduate writing course at San Diego State (RWS 200). Prior to that, when I was an undergraduate at UC Irvine, I was hired by the university to tutor integration calculus for three years. I am a math and writing person, and enjoy tutoring both! My real passion is for helping students succeed when they struggle and realizing that with the proper skills, they can master any assignment. College essays, essay editing, reading, writing, and integration calculus are my specialties, but I am happy to tutor middle school math, algebra, and trigonometry as well! When I am not tutoring or teaching, I spend my time reading with a hot cup of tea, running, listening to music, and hanging out with friends.
