MY PERSONAL STATEMENT
I am a teacher; I love inspiring others to learn, whether in a classroom or out in the "real world". I have worked in education for the last seven years: 3 years as a tutor, 1 year as a teacher in a private school, and 3 years as a campus librarian. My clients have ranged from elementary to college students, English to chemistry and most subjects in between.
In addition to being a teacher, I am also an avid student. I received my BA in English from a private university and am currently doing graduate work in music. I am the type of person who is always asking "why?" and "how?". Even in my free time, I am learning something. ^_^
Education is truly a passion of mine. In my opinion, few experiences exceed that of watching a student understand a subject for the first time. To help equip another person to achieve his or her goals is one of the most important things someone can do in his or her life.
