Hello

I am currently a Middle School math teacher in San Diego County. I have attained my Credential from National University, my Bachelors in Mathematics from San Diego State and am currently pursuing a Master in Education. I can help with a variety of subjects, however my specialties would be Math and English.

In my prior experiences tutoring, I have helped persons ranging from Elementary School level to undergraduates. In speaking with the families and individuals I have helped, I have received positive reviews. Some of the most common responses is that I'm friendly, encouraging and knowledgeable. I do my best to ensure that my clients understand the material and are able to complete the work individually. I guess that's where the teacher part of me comes forward.

I am very high energy and enjoy challenging the people that I work with to look at their subject with a positive "I can do this" attitude. Most clients, the young and the young-challenged, say that having a positive outlook on their abilities in the subject is the first step to mastering it. (Or at least understanding it)

I haven't had much time to re-develop hobbies and "free-time" activities with school and work. But I remember I used to enjoy traveling, sightseeing around San Diego, hiking (I was raised in Alpine, CA so the mountains are important to me), going to the zoo, the beach, catching a game and watching a good movie.
