I studied Psychology and Spanish at Northwestern University and then got my Master's degree in Elementary Education from Vanderbilt University. Although I always thought teaching sounded exciting, it was not until I began volunteering in a third grade classroom that I was sure I wanted to pursue education as a career. Since making this decision I have had experience with students of all ages. I taught weekly lessons to 2nd and 4th graders during the first year of my program at Vanderbilt and then student taught in a fifth grade and a kindergarten. Although I enjoy teaching in all subjects, my favorites are Language Arts, Reading, Spanish and Science. I also provide ACT tutoring. I am qualified to tutor all subjects, but my strongest area is English.
