MY PERSONAL STATEMENT
As a Texas certified teacher, I have taught for 4 years at both elementary and secondary levels. Many administrators and students have described my teaching style as rigorous, persistent, and resolute matched with ample doses of patience and encouragement. I believe in meeting every student where they are and challenging them incrementally to apply themselves towards new and worthy goals.
English and Science are two of my favorite subjects! Helping little ones learn to read and older students improve their writing is particularly rewarding for me. Additionally, I am passionate about American History and Political Science.
In my free time, I love being outdoors and spending time with friends! Some of my favorite pastimes include running with my dog, going fishing, cooking, and working in my garden.
