MY PERSONAL STATEMENT
I am currently attending Washington University in St. Louis working towards my PhD in Biochemistry. I can help students with math up to Algebra 2 as well as basic math. I can also help with basic and advanced sciences.
I have worked with the Young Scientist Program at WashU, traveling to different middle and high schools performing science demonstrations. I also served as a mentor for a high school junior this past summer, working on a science research project. I have served as a teaching assistant for an undergraduate biochemistry course as well.
Although I have only worked with high school and college students, I feel that I have the patience and the ability to make math and science fun and easy to understand to younger students as well. I have five younger sisters whom I've helped with both math and science homework.
When I have down time, I enjoy reading, hanging out with friends, watching sports (football and basketball), and baking.
