MY PERSONAL STATEMENT
I taught for eight years in various private schools in Georgia including Trinity Christian School, Stratford Academy, and Pinewood Christian Academy. I am currently teaching full-time at Georgia Military College where I serve as the social and behavioral sciences division chair. I teach American, World, African American, and Georgia History courses. I also teach courses in the history of religion. I taught English, writing, and literature at the high school level for eight years. I have published four books and numerous articles on history. I have tutored my students privately for the duration of my tenure as an instructor. As a college history instructor, I have made various presentations on local, state, and national history to organizations of state historians, genealogists, public historians, museum curators, fellow professors, and public officials. I also volunteer my time with various historical organizations and offer guest lectures and guest tour guide appearances for various organizations seeking to preserve local and state history.
