MY PERSONAL STATEMENT
i am currently a classical musician who teaches and performs regularly throughout the metroplex. I have been teaching the instrument that I play privately for over ten years now and have been tutoring test prep for five. I love instilling and conveying new ways of doing things and understanding and love to help kids get to where they want to go. I make tutoring as interactive as possible and very rarely just tell kids something. I am very interested in getting them to think through things for themselves and like to interact as much as possible. I am at my best when I can guide the discovery of new concepts or ways of approaching problems.
When I am not working (which is rarely I must admit), I enjoy gardening or anything to do with the outdoors or animals and can be seen with my own kids at the zoo or a museum fairly often if you look carefully!!
