MY PERSONAL STATEMENT
My name is Brooke, and I am currently a graduate student at the University of Arizona.
I attended undergraduate at Amherst College and graduated magna cum laude with distinction in biology. My senior year at Amherst, I designed and completed a year long research project on seahorses which culminated in my senior honors thesis. Next, I completed 2-1/2 years of medical school at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. I did research in the Rheumatology Department at Johns Hopkins Hospital, and my favorite clinical rotations were Neurology, Radiology, and Neuroradiology.
I have always had a strong background in science and love to help others learn. I am excited to be a tutor for Varsity Tutors and look forward to helping you gain a better understanding of biology and medicine.
