MY PERSONAL STATEMENT
I'm a post-undergraduate student at the University of Houston, originally from Austin, TX. I received my Bachelor's from Southwestern University in Georgetown, where I tutored a variety of subjects, especially physics, math, chemistry, and writing for three years. I love teaching, and making science accessible to everyone is very important to me. I like to take away the serious and abstract nature of the material, and make it relevant to your personal interests. This has worked very well - some of my students even made me cookies*! I strongly believe that anyone can be good at math and science, and during my time as a tutor, I have proved myself right on several occasions. In my free time, I enjoy listening to music, irritating my girlfriend with my guitar playing, reading just about anything, and practising some sweet Taekwondo moves.
