I am currently a 1st year medical school student at SUNY Upstate Medical University and last year worked as a high-school and middle-school science teacher. I completed an MS in biomedical sciences, BS in biotechnology, BA in chemistry, minored in anthropology and am currently workig towards my MD. Additionally, I am also an active sponsored mixed martial arts athlete and compete in Jujitsu, kickboxing and MMA-events about once a month. On my free time I also enjoy volunteering with animals at a local dog shelter in addition to clinical-volunteer work at several different locations.

In addition to teaching AP-biology, Chemistry and physics for high-school and middle-school, I also offer group tutoring to 1st-year medical and master students at Tufts University School of Medicine; which is also where I recently completed my graduate studies. As an athlete and an individual aspiring to become a medical doctor, I have utilized several learning techniques and developed valuable time management skills that have allowed me to learn a great deal of information in a short amount of time. I hope to use my diverse and extensive teaching techniques to help additional students overcome academic obstacles and gain admission to prestigious educational programs. My extensive experience as an athlete and a student also allows me to mentor students in a progressive direction and assist them as they apply to undergraduate and graduate schools, especially programs related to healthcare.
