MY PERSONAL STATEMENT
I am a graduate of the University of Chicago with a major in English Language and Literature and a minor in French Language and Literature. I can help students with reading and writing in all forms and at all levels.
During my time at the University of Chicago, I took coursework in creative writing, academic writing, Shakespeare, Ulysses, Romanticism, and Modernist poets. I also took more French than was required of a French minor, as well as an intensive three month program in Paris where I took three history classes in French.
In the past, I have tutored students in writing, English, and French. My students have been grateful for my help, and I've been told that I'm patient, friendly, and put an enormous amount of effort into making each student's session as helpful as it can be.
