I am a second year graduate student at Columbia University, pursuing my Masters in Public Health and my Masters in Social Work. I was an English Literature major as an undergraduate at the University of Pennsylvania.
I love to read and write and I love helping others reach their full potential in these areas! I believe everyone can be excellent readers and writers, with the ability to read and write critically and analytically, once they learn the tools they need to succeed.
I have a test prep background, as I was an SAT Teacher as an undergraduate. I have succeeded in helping my students consistently get the best scores they can.
I can help students get into the best universities by assisting them in achieving excellent test scores and college essays. I worked as a Tour Guide and Admissions Office Ambassador as an undergraduate, and I am part of the University of Pennsylvania Secondary School Committee now (which involves interviewing applicants), so I am well versed in what it takes to be a successful applicant to the top tier universities.
Mostly, I am enthusiastic about learning and I like to share that enthusiasm with others! I truly believe that with the right tools and guidance, academics (even standardized tests!) can be enjoyable.
In my free time, I like to read (there's a theme here, I know!), see movies, go out with my friends, try new restaurants, and I love to dance. I also love exploring New York City and everything it has to offer.
