MY PERSONAL STATEMENT
I am a Biochemistry major at the University of Houston with my minor being teaching. I plan to attend medical school with a focus in pathology after I graduate from UH then become a pathologist or clinical researcher.
I enjoy tutoring others and am known to be a very patient tutor. I have tutored clients from junior high to college level in Latin, sciences, mathematics, English, SAT/ACT prep and music theory. I took Latin for 6 years and rather enjoyed it. My favorite subjects are history, the sciences and English. I actually did not like math for quite some time as a child but I have learned to love it and I would like to help any of my clients LOVE the subject I tutor them in.
I enjoying singing and have done so since I was in 3rd grade. I also enjoy dancing - specifically ballet and lyrical. I love reading and have an extensive collection of books that I cherish. Speaking of books, I also work in a bookstore! I love being surrounded by books, and have done over 200 hours of volunteer work through the Friendswood Public Library. As much as I enjoy books I enjoy hanging out with my friends too!
