I have a Masters in Medical Genetics from the University of Cincinnati, and I recently moved to Houston. I excel at the biological sciences, social sciences, writing, and literature.

I have worked with children and young adults ranging from pre-academic to college students. At the University of Cincinnati I was a teaching assistant for a course called Genetics in Society, which was fun to teach because the students were non-science majors, so the information was all new to them.

My work as an undergraduate focused more on social sciences and therapeutic learning. I had an internship doing ABA therapy with individuals who have ADHD, learning disabilities, and autism. ABA is a highly respected teaching method that can be applied to all students because it focuses on breaking learning down into small increments and tailoring goals to maximize one's innate abilities.

My experience working with individuals with disabilities has made me an empathic teacher who works with students strengths to find the best method to learn new material.
