MY PERSONAL STATEMENT
I am a digital marketing and communications professional working in the North County area. I can help high school students with their college entrance essays, and I can also provide solid grounding in the basics of reading, grammar and additional communication skills.
Along with my background in communications, my teaching experience has stretched into other subject areas as well. During my first year of college, I taught a conversation class for Beginning Portuguese language students. I also instructed two elementary school students in beginning piano.
Having taught in a wide variety of subjects has led me to encounter many different teaching scenarios. Along with helping students conquer general subject knowledge, problems like test anxiety and time management are my specialty. I can help students gain self-confidence in their abilities and to overcome their obstacles.
I absolutely love learning new things and I consider myself to be a "lifelong student." When I'm not busy teaching or learning, I love to dance, cook, and travel.
