Hi everyone!!!

I recently moved to the city to pursue an MSEd in Adolescent Education at Long Island University- Brooklyn. In addition, I just graduated from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BS in Biology. I am a huge math and science lover and would love to share my enthusiasm with everyone! I can provide solid help with lower level math and up to higher levels of biology (AP Biology) and some chemistry (Gen. Chem).

In the past I have worked with elementary school aged children as well as high school peers! While at UNC I tutored at a human rights center, which helped elementary school students with homework, test prep etc. In addition while a calculus student in high school, I had the privilege of tutoring a few students in pre-calculus and Algebra and absolutely loved it! These students all ended the class with A's.

On another note, as a future teacher myself, I hope to implement more effective teaching methods. As a student I struggled with the dull lecturing that most classes provided, so I would love to use more visual and handson techniques to explain the curriculum. In addition, I am very animated and friendly so I'm easy to trust and be comfortable around.

In my free time, I love watching movies, shopping and reading. I also make sure to follow my tarheels in football and basketball religiously! I of course, love hanging out and doing new things with my friends (which def. includes exploring this new beautiful city).
