MY PERSONAL STATEMENT
Born in Massachusetts and raised in California, I am a UC San Diego graduate of Psychology, with a focus in child development. My main focus of tutoring is in High School Mathematics and SAT Math tutoring, but I am capable of tutoring for General SAT testing and SAT subjects.
My credentials include near-perfect scores on my Math SAT I and SAT II. I began practicing the SAT curriculum in the 7th grade and attended many SAT classes to improve my own score, from a low 1600 to over 2000. I was offered a teaching position in my last years as a SAT student, and proctored tests for the company.
My teaching style not only focuses your child's attention on concept mastery and problem solving, but test taking and time management. Most of my students admire my "direct and effective" way of teaching.
Aside from my academics and education, I enjoy a wide array of different activities. I am always continuing to learn and finding new ways to improve myself. I enjoy watching sports and finding my own time to improve my own health and fitness.
