MY PERSONAL STATEMENT
I am a recent Biochemistry graduate from San Diego State University, although I grew up in Northern California, Mountain View to be exact. I have experience teaching a wide variety of subjects but math and science are by far my favorites. My goal as a tutor is to make these challenging subjects easily accessible for my students. I have taught students of all ages and find it particularly rewarding to work with those who have learning challenges.
In my free time, I love reading mysteries, horror novels, true crime books and general fiction. I also spend time furthering my knowledge of Forensic Science (I'm actually a trained CSI!). I'm also passionate about animals and volunteer at a wildlife rescue center.
I truly care about all of my students and do everything I can to help them be successful and independent learners!
