MY PERSONAL STATEMENT
I am a third year math PhD student at Emory University. Before attending Emory, I attended Morehouse College and graduated Summa Cum Laude as a Mathematics and Economics double major in May 2009.
While at Morehouse, I was a mathematics tutor for the Math Department from sophomore year on. Also during this time, I was a teacher’s assistant for Precalculus and an upper level math course. While at Emory, I participated in weekly Calculus help sessions during my first two years. Although most recently I have assisted students trying to navigate their way through Calculus, I am very well versed in the mathematics learned in middle school and high school.
