I began tutoring with the Plano Independent School District AVID program in January of 2010, the spring semester of my freshmen year in college. Tutoring students has become such a rewarding job opportunity that I continue to seek tutoring opportunities wherever I can. I’ve enjoyed tutoring Plano students at Renner Middle School, Schimelpfenig Middle School, Clark High School, and Plano East Senior High School. I teach middle school math (including Algebra) and sciences, as well as physics and a variety of high school and college math material (see my subjects list for more).

Every student is different. I can help with your learning process because I've been going through it, too, for the last 10+ years. I know what high school and college material looks like. My teaching style is centered entirely on you: wherever you want to focus our efforts is where we'll work. Tutoring with me is very conversational and I’m in the habit of asking, no matter the problem, what you know already. You’d be surprised how much you can put together from what you have floating around in your head!

At UT Dallas, I was on the Dean’s List (top ten percent GPA in the school of Natural Sciences and Mathematics) during multiple semesters. In high school, I earned a perfect score on my PSAT and graduated with honors from Plano Senior High. I was also recognized for my writing by the National Council of Teachers of English (a mouthful!) in my senior year.
