I live in Dallas, and in May 2011 I received my Masters in Counseling. I am now a Licensed Professional Counselor Intern in the state of Texas working in a private practice counseling office. I love working with elementary, middle school, and junior high students. I have a passion for helping young individuals realize their worth and potential so that they can live life to the fullest and make positive choices that will result in a lifetime of meaningful accomplishments.

My Masters degree in Counseling is a great resource as a tutor because I have spent time studying Normal Human Growth, Cognitive Development, and Abnormal Human Behavior, which will assist me with assessing the student's learning needs and meeting the student wherever he/she is with the academic material. I have experience as a teacher in a Foreign Language Child Immersion School as well as experience abroad in the Paris, France area as an English tutor to French adolescents and adults. I have also assisted with local ESL programs. I love helping students improve their knowledge and use of the English language. With French as my second language, I am also available to help any student studying French. Language arts, French, and Elementary/Middle School Math are areas where I can confidently help students.

When I am not helping others through counseling or tutoring, I enjoy baking, reading, exercising, hanging out with friends, watching movies, having conversations in French, arts and crafts projects, church activities, and watching sports. I am a faithful fan of the Dallas Mavericks and am so delighted about their 2011 NBA Championship. Go Mavs!
