Throughout my schooling I have always been an informal tutor. As one of the more advanced students in every math or science class I took, many of my classmates would come to me for help. I eventually made this an official pastime by applying for and receiving a job in the Mathematics Lab at the University of Missouri St. Louis tutoring in math classes through discrete structures. I also was recommended by an academic advisor to be a private tutor for calculus 2.
