MY PERSONAL STATEMENT
In the middle school, I helped explain the process of long division to one of my friends. Ever since then, I have loved helping others when it comes to academics. I peer tutored all through high school, and I am so glad that Varsity Tutors has given me the opportunity to continue my passion.
I specialize in Latin tutoring, since I took six years of it total, through middle school and high school. Some say its a dead language, but trust me, I have found many uses of Latin that are not just limited to SAT/ACT vocabulary (although it is also helpful then).
I attend Rice University, and I am a Biochemistry and Cell Biology major. I am Pre-Med right now, and I hope to one day join Doctors Without Borders to help set up free clinics in underprivileged countries and teach people about how to live a happy and healthy lifestyle.
In my free time, I love to read, write, watch TV, and dance!
