MY PERSONAL STATEMENT
I have experience teaching everything from pre-algebra and foundations of mathematics through calculus, as well as probability and statistics and personal finance. I've taught students ranging from 13 years old to 67 years old, and I've encountered those students across middle school, high school, community college, and 4-year college environments. I enjoy the challenge of phrasing mathematical concepts in "non-math" language, and am comfortable explaining concepts in a variety of ways.
As someone who has always felt comfortable taking standardized tests, I am also proud of the way I explain test-taking strategies. With my experience working in higher education, I am also uniquely able to place standardized tests within the context of overall college admissions.
