MY PERSONAL STATEMENT
I graduated from Trinity University with a degree in economics. I have over three years of tutoring experience, and I really enjoy it! I have tutored all ages, but I work best with high school students, college students, and post-graduates. The subjects I enjoy tutoring most are Math, Economics, and SAT/ACT or TAKS test prep. I can tutor any level of math, and I have had clients in every math level, including pre-algebra, Algebra I and II, Geometry, Pre-Cal, Trig., Calculus I and II, and Statistics.
Over the years, I have received great feedback from my clients. I focus both on making sure that my students understand the material and that they are able to apply it so that they can make an A in their class or make an A on that big test that's coming up. I'm very friendly, easy to work with, and, most importantly, I am patient. I've found that I have a real skill for figuring out what my students are struggling with and working with them to turn their weaknesses into strengths. I also have a good feel for what teachers are looking for and design my tutoring plan accordingly.
In my free time, I'm a big sports fan. I love watching the Texans and the Rockets! I'm also really into music. I play guitar and piano, and I enjoy writing my own songs.
