I am a Physical Chemistry PhD student at the University of Arizona. I received my B.S. in Astrophysics in 2007. Teaching and education is something that I consider extremely important. It is because of a few good teachers that I am where I am today. As a graduate student at the U of A, I have taught a number of different chemistry labs ranging from general chemistry to senior level physical chemistry. I put a lot of work into my teaching because I believe that a good teacher makes a huge difference in how people learn. I try to approach problems from many different angles because everyone learns and retains information a little differently. The first semester I taught, I received the highest award a chemistry TA can get and have been recognized for my above and beyond efforts in teaching each semester after that. My student reviews are among the best in the department.

I believe in asking questions if you don't understand something. Sometimes a class room setting makes that difficult so as a tutor, I encourage any and all questions. That is what I am here for, to answer and to help understand. I have tutored everything from algebra to calculus, general chemistry, physical chemistry, as well as physics and SAT prep/ AP prep. I also used to coach swim team and teach violin lessons.

In my free time, I love playing the violin, guitar and hanging out with my friends.
