I am currently in the final semester of my undergraduate degree, studying mathematics and political science at Arizona State University. I've taken many advanced math courses, some at the graduate level, and I'm currently researching stochastic processes (a topic in probability).

I've tutored topics from basic math through second-semester calculus, and I worked for a short period teaching test prep professionally. I've also taught private piano and trumpet lessons, and I've been a summer camp counselor, so I've had a lot of experience working with kids of all ages, K-12. Also, in middle and high school, I competed in math contests, and was the Arizona state MathCounts champion in 8th grade. In order to perform well in these contests, I have had to develop an extremely good grasp on less advanced topics (everything before calculus), so I am especially qualified in those areas.

But don't worry, I am by no means a math robot! I'm also studying political science, and while I've decided that the political life is not for me, I've had a lot of experience with writing. Also, I constantly try to be well-rounded academically, and I enjoy learning about topics all across the board, from anthropology to linguistics.

In my free time I play a lot of music: I play keyboards and trumpet in several bands, and I sing in a collegiate a cappella group. I also enjoy rock climbing, ultimate frisbee, and hanging out with my friends.
