Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"The student did much better this time, and it's clear that he's really trying to get a grasp on the language. It is somewhat difficult since he has forgotten a lot of the vocabulary that he learned in Latin I, so I suggested that he make flashcards and review on his own. He also needs to review endings for different noun declensions and verb conjugations."
"Practiced creating deductions using reiteration, & elimination, & introduction, OR introduction, and horseshoe elimination. Then practiced creating deductions using horseshoe introduction. Assigned homework."
"The student and I began the session by completing a creative drawing task. This was then extended to a writing activity. Next, we worked on fluency. We then completed a read aloud activity."
"The student has to create a conversation in Spanish using the verbs and the vocabulary he has covered. He needs to write a 14 sentences conversation and on Friday he will presented. We worked on that. He is still confusing the endings of some conjugations but it is nothing to worry about. He is working good in order to get it. He knows the endings and the rules. He did a good job with the 14 sentences. We worked on reviewing, but I also took time to go back to present, common verbal expressions, question words, pronunciation. At the end, he read his conversation to me and we corrected a few mistakes he had for his oral presentation. He is doing good."
"This was a continuation review session from yesterday for his test later this week. He breezed by almost every single problem."
"We covered French grammar, specifically subject pronouns and introductions of reflexive pronouns. We also worked on conjugation of ER verbs in the present tense and gender of nouns and adjectives. We also discussed how to go from the masculine form to the feminine form."
