Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"We reviewed torque, moment of inertia and angular acceleration. We went over homework problems from the book and assigned extra problems to get more practice. The student had difficulty converting some units (rpms to rad/sec) and calculating moment of inertia for a system of particles, so we practiced extra on these concepts, and then did a few extra problems with rotational and linear motion combined."
"We talked about reaction rates some more and how the rates of appearance/disappearance of a product or reactant is related to the coefficients in the balanced chemical equation. The student knows the topics pretty well, and understands things very easily."
"We reviewed general chemistry topics for the student's upcoming exam. We primarily covered intermolecular forces and their relationship to vapor pressure, and phase changes. We also covered a bit of genetics centered on the steps of mitosis."
