Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"I worked with the student on studying for her test on surface area and volume. She understands the concepts very well. She has done very exceptional work all year."
"The student and I continued reviewing for the upcoming final exam, covering right angle trigonometry, degrees, radians and the triangle inequality theorem."
"I reviewed reading comp with the first student, and central angles with the second student. The second student has to create a chart for properties of triangle concurrence for our next session."
"We covered system of equations, as well as the student's current material of writing functions in vertex intercept form. We moved on to three variable system of equations, which gave her some trouble, as she was unfamiliar with the increased difficulty. I gave her several problems to practice on. We will continue to work on this."
"We reviewed conversions from mass to moles and how to use stoichiometry. We then looked at reviewing quadratic equations, specifically completing the square, in order to find the general equation. We also applied completing the square to find the general equations of circles. We looked at how to find the general equation of a circle given the center and the radius in both number form and graphical form."
"The student and I covered the basics of using Pythagorean's theorem, including using algebra mixed as well. He is betting better at algebra and seems to be picking up the new Pythagorean material well. We practiced the theorem on special triangles and learned about their ratio coefficients as well."
