"Tutoring session covered Spring semester of Algebra I (factoring, solving inequalities, graphing, probability, permutations, combinations, radicals, etc). At the beginning of the session, the client did not remember most of what was on the final review. By the end of the session, she was flying through problems with ease. She needs more practice with basic math facts and help with organization of her schoolwork. Overall, the client was very quick and felt much more comfortable with her Algebra I final by the end of the session."
"Today, the student and I went over some Geometry concepts. We covered basic logic and reasoning. The student did pretty well with this, but does need to practice, in order to master it. We covered conditional statements, converse, inverse and contrapositive statements. "

"Today I helped the student with an assignment involving developing equations of lines from graphs. The lines in this assignment were medians and perpendicular bisectors in triangles, like the student has been studying in the past weeks. She was familiar with the tools needed to complete the assignment, but she will need to practice this before her test. I think she will do well on her test, as she seemed to understand the procedures I was explaining. She is doing very well overall and I think she will excel in the weeks to come."

"This was an extra session scheduled by the student's mother due to some difficulties with recent tests. We covered a section on parallelograms as well as some extra work on similar triangles and dealing with ratios and fractions. I think the session was very valuable for the student."
