We decided to work with a tutor from your team in hopes of building our daughter's confidence and problem solving abilities. We were thrilled after the first session, when our daughter said the tutor made math fun and she learned 'so many new things'. After researching the traditional 'big name' tutoring services, I
came across Varsity Tutor's website and contacted them. On very
short notice, the director found an available tutor for a specialty subject
that I am certain any other service would have only found a
generalist to handle. Within two days we had everything set up with
the tutor and began at home sessions. Our tutor, a Wash U senior
majoring in the subject matter, was excellent in all respects. Very
friendly, knowledgeable, understanding of the student's needs, and
flexible in scheduling. I would highly recommend Varsity Tutors.

from the previous test! He liked Blake [the tutor] a lot and

Just wanted to let you know that we were very pleased with the
services offered by Varsity Tutors. My daughter was tutored by Brian
on the subject of honors algebra/trig. With Brian's assistance, she
was able to achieve a solid B. Brian's knowledge and flexibility
regarding scheduling were most helpful. We will definitely use

Our family has had a wonderful experience with Varsity Tutors. Our
daughter transferred to a new school and needed tutoring initially
in Algebra and subsequently in Geometry. I must commend VT for
being able to accurately assess our daughter's needs, and recommend
tutors who were more than capable in the subjects we needed. Our
daughter has completed her year with a solid A in her math class.

In short: it went great. My GMAT score went up 120 points! My tutor Chris was
great at helping me develop an effective GMAT test-taking strategy and polish
my quantitative skills. His tutoring did wonders for my score. The first time
I took it, I got a 590, but 4 weeks later, I was able to score in the top 8%!
I was definitely happy with the price I paid, the great customer service I
received, the tutor I got, and the score I achieved in the end. I am always

Our son meets regularly with his tutor, and he looks forward to these working
sessions. The key for us is having the consistent contact with a highly intelligent,
successful, and supportive college student, with whom my son can interact about
his studies and freely ask any questions about the subject matter. The match
between our son and his tutor is terrific, they appear to enjoy each others
sense of humor too. It's a confidence builder and promotes our son's
independence about his schoolwork. His grades are great too. We are delighted

I just want to let you know that Josh [our tutor] did a fantastic job tutoring my son on his summer reading assignment. Josh prepared a set of notes that will allow our child to refresh his memory closer to school time. He also showed a great method of preparing for such tests in the future. He really went above and beyond what I expected, and I now feel confident that our son is well prepared for his tests when he returns to school.
