"Today we worked on the Henderson-Hasselbalch equation with buffered solutions, how pH changes when adding small amounts of strong acid or strong base, and how polyprotic acids buffer at different pH ranges. We also went over how to calculate change in pH for a buffered solution with known concentrations of initial acid and base without pKa by doing pH2-pH1. Last, I showed her the way of substituting in Henderson-Hasselbalch and showing that the pKa will cancel."
"We covered acid base equilibria and titrations. Topics included differences in calculations among strong and weak acid base calculations as well as mixtures of both strong and weak acids and bases. We also covered concepts and mathematics behind buffer solutions. Finally, we covered the experimental process of titration."
"We focused on bringing together the table and graph into the summary write-up. After correcting some statistical blips in the Excel file, we began to put everything into a single Word document, and by the end, we had everything we needed for the assignment. Proper APA formatting and labeling was noted."
