"Today's session was focused on a mix of Rounding, Multiplication, Addition, and Pattern Identification problems. I tried to make it an interactive session by creating a "game" using the problems."
"We went over multiplication/division with 8, 9, and 11. The student is very good at these multiplication and division problems!"
"The student and I went over all that he did since we last met. His parents had a parent teacher conference today which went very well according to mom. His first quarter grades reflect satisfactory/excellent in most every thing and he has a B average in all subject areas. He mastered another level of subtracting single digits. He is mastering 2 tests per week and hopefully in less than 6 weeks he will get a ribbon for mastering subtraction and be able to begin multiplication. He and I practiced multiplication from 0-3 tables and he did very well. I will email his mom a multiplication table for him to keep on him so he can work on memorization. He understands the concept of multiplying which is great. Integrating it into his tutoring time and spare time to practice multiplication now should have him master and test out of this area quickly. Looking at his work from the other day in reading and answering questions, he may need more time spent in this strengthen this area. A new quarter has started and I feel he will continue excel gracefully."
"This session reinforced the linear algebra fundamentals including more specific equations for lines and how to find them. In particular we discussed the meaning of different types of slopes and how to fit that information into the y=mx + b equation. I am proud to say that the student is moving forward smoothly and we are staying in front of the material she is seeing in class."

"The student worked on her online Algebra 2 class. Specific concepts were finding the vertices, lines of symmetry, x-intercepts, y-intercepts, and graphing of parabolas. She also completed the squares to put the parabolas in standard form to graph them. She did well."
