Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"The student and I have started to review for her final exam in Pre-Calculus. We discussed trigonometry, polar coordinates, and vectors."
"Today we reviewed matrices, finding determinants, finding the inverse of a matrix, trigonometric identity, evaluating trigonometric equations, finding the angle and did some exam review."
"We covered exponentials, logarithms, various Physics II applications of exponentials and logs, etc. We made practice problems. The student still recalls the unit circle by heart."
"We covered some homework regarding functions, graphs, domains, ranges, etc. The student was definitely getting the hang of how to do questions, and some he could do well without any assistance. I left him with some strategies and some easy fixes to his mistakes, along with a couple of problems to review before his test."
"The student and I reviewed for an upcoming math test this Friday. We covered trig identities, special angles, angles that are not "special," and the unit circle. She became very comfortable illustrating angles in the unit circle during our session. We also covered some techniques to use when proving identities such as conjugate pairs. She brought her A game today. A study tip I left her with was how to get to bed earlier because sleep is important."
"We worked on graphing polar coordinates. We met at the library, and it worked out well there. The student mentioned a couple of times how much she had learned during our time together and how things made more sense now!"
