Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"The student and I spent roughly 30 minutes going over grammar (dangling modifiers). The rest of our time was spent on AP human geography. The student is on track for his AP exam at the end of May. He gets the right ideas, but struggles with writing his ideas on paper in an eloquent way. I am sending the student examples (with instructions on how I formulated my response)."
"We began with our introductions, then moved into a whirlwind course overview, game plan development, timeline, regional interests, language and cultural issues, area overview; business, geography and economics at the moment. I need to review the student's past exams because two papers (exams) are needed for each of the three subjects. He is preparing an overview of where he has gotten good marks vs. bad marks. We will concentrate on key terms in human geography, as these must be learned in greater detail."
"The student and I reviewed 3 and 4 from Chapter 11 of his textbook. He continued to do really well with his comprehension of this chapter. All of his questions were excellent tonight, and mainly focused on US labor movements and unions. We will have a review session before his exam later this week."
