"The student started work on her homework. These problems required her to apply Newton's 2nd Law to questions involving inclines, pulleys, and friction. One question even required her to solve in variable form (no numbers). Freda is asking important conceptual questions and continues to be a proactive learner. The questions are getting progressively more complex, lengthy, and conceptually challenging, but she is doing great. We plan to meet for our regularly scheduled session this Saturday."
"The student and I covered chemistry and geometry. Both subjects he had a great grasp on. For chemistry, I previewed what he would be working on next. (PV=nRT) and in geometry I helped him with a few practice problems, and helped with some proofs. By the end I think he had a better method to approach them."
"The student and I worked on concepts pertaining to converting between units and scientific notation. She had a clear understanding of the concepts and felt confident about her exam for next week. Even though we have not had any assessment grades to note her progress, she has displayed a clear confidence towards the material that wasn't there before. With this being the case, I look forward to seeing how she does on her upcoming exam!"
