Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"This session, we went through the student's homework assignment from chapter 17 covering aromaticity. We specifically focused on the major factors that contribute to a molecule being considered aromatic, non-aromatic, or anti-aromatic and how this affects stability, acidity, and basicity."
"Today we reviewed types of force and basic rate equations. The student has a test tomorrow. He does well conceptually with the concepts of force, velocity and acceleration. He has trouble with manipulating equations using algebra. He tends to want to memorize wording and know which formula goes with it rather than deriving an equation based on the variables given."
"Today's session covered different types of molecules and their properties. We also discussed the many unique properties of water and had a small demonstration of how changes in temperature affects the air molecules in a balloon. Next week we will begin biological molecules and how their roles."
