Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"Today we reviewed probability practice. Went over how to recognize when to use specific equations for specific situations."
"The student and I studied problems from page 41 of the text. We will have to evaluate his scores when they become available."
"We discussed and worked through problems on various triangle properties. This included the Pythagorean Theorem, triangle similarity theorems, and special right triangles (45-45-90 and 30-60-90). I left her with a few problems to work through before our next session."
"We covered a section from his book that had to do with 3 definitions, median, altitude and angle bisector. I showed the student through pictures what the definitions were saying and why they were important (they were important to solving some proofs) and then went over the example proof with him. We then finished up the session by going over an example proof at the end of the section. He seemed to understand what we were going over and I felt the session went well! Good session overall!"
"The student and I reviewed multiple concepts today, including concurrent lines, circumcenter, incenter, centroid, angle bisector, perpendicular bisector, and all the theorems associated with them. We did multiple problems solving for the missing values and angles throughout different triangles."
"We talked about proofs, angles of a triangle, the midpoint formula, the distance formula, and theorems. She had a great attitude."
