Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"We continued working on answering reading questions. We will focus more on the time aspect of the reading section through next week."
"The student continued working on his college essay. I reviewed it and noticed he had used improved word choices and had organized the essay with better sentence structure. He completed the final set of grammar practice tests with consistent results. We will review all techniques for the upcoming test next week."
"We began this session by reviewing a section of Critical Reading questions the student had worked through during our last session. Overall, I was pleased with the outcome. In this section, his raw score was comparable to his raw section score from the corresponding point in his recent practice exam. If this indicates that he is finding consistency in his increased score, then I am very pleased! We then reviewed the essay I had asked him to complete for homework. He did a very nice job applying the structural and organizational adjustments we worked on last time. After this was completed, I checked in to see if there were any other concepts that we needed to review, and then we spent time on more practice sections under exam-like conditions. As we are getting very close to the exam date, I want to spend as much time as we can practicing the application of all the concepts and strategies we have worked on. This took us to the end of the session, and I intend to spend more time in our next session working towards a similar goal."
