I am absolutely so thankful for you guys. I had the best experience with my tutor, Evan. Evan not only helped me to learn concepts in Statistics (a class that I had never taken before), he was also so generous with his time and accommodating to my schedule that it was a perfect fit. Evan's way of simplifying material just made it easy to catch on and do well. I am in my last semester of my Masters program and Varsity Tutors made it possible for me to get an A in my Risk Management class even though I had never taken a statistics class. I am so thankful to Varsity Tutors for not only giving me the math tools that I needed to do well but also helping me to learn concepts that I can apply to my career as well as my everyday life!
We were very happy with the service provided by Varsity Tutors to our son for his SSAT exams. We particularly liked how Varsity Tutors matched the right tutor with our son’s needs. Melinda, our tutor, did a great job and laid out a disciplined approach to get our son ready for the SSAT’s. In addition to teaching the course material, she increased his confidence and even taught him some stress relief activities. I was also impressed with her conscientious – when she could not make one evening's tutorial session, she arranged for another tutor to cover the session. I have no hesitation in recommending Varsity Tutors – they did a great job.
I have had almost all of my sessions with Yilin and I think she is fantastic. I really see my scores improving after just a few weeks. She is very flexible and eager to help me do well which is a serious motivator for me. Overall, I feel like I definitely got my money's worth with her as my tutor and am looking forward to receiving my next test results because I know I will improve significantly.
We really appreciate the help that Melissa gave to our daughter! Melissa was able to keep her focused and on task, and was able to give her corrections and strategies without our daughter getting upset with herself or discouraged. She is feeling very confident going into the SSAT and that is a far cry from where she was when we started.

The experience for our high school senior with Varsity Tutors was amazing and very successful. The directors were very prompt and efficient in their customer service. The tutor selected for our daughter was matched perfectly and she was always on time and extremely prepared. Our student felt very comfortable with the tutor and benefited from the private in home sessions. Our daughter's ACT score improved by 4 points which has shown very favorable with her college applications. This program is very affordable and effective. We just got the news this morning that our daughter sailed thru the CRCT retake test. Again, thank you so much for sending Nikki, our tutor, to us, she was just fantastic.
I wanted to follow-up with both of you on the results of our daughter's school placement process. She applied to five schools (Westminster, AIS, Paideia, Pace and Woodward). She was accepted at all but Pace, where she was wait-listed, so we were very happy! She has decided to go to Paideia next year and is very excited about her opportunities there. When Neil, our tutor, started tutoring my daughter in Algebra, she had a 43% in the class. The final grade has been entered and she ends the semester with a 76%. An increase of 33% points in two months is an increase of leaps and bounds, especially considering she did not pass first semester Algebra. I am very pleased with her accomplishment and the tutoring, assistance, and support of Neil.
The chemistry course I was in before (Inorganic Chemistry II) has ended and Sean, my tutor, helped me improve my grade by an entire letter grade. Talk about awesome!

Your SSAT preparation program for our daughter was first-rate and an excellent value!
