"The student and I worked on counting methods. I helped him prepare for an upcoming quiz. He seems to grasp the concepts."
"The student is getting ready for the school's standardized tests, so today we did an assigned review worksheet."
"We reviewed for the student's upcoming exam. I brought extra practice for solving equations with absolute value and inequalities. We then went through her study guide to make sure she was confident about the different problem types."
"Over the weekend, the student had done his first homework assignment on quadratic equations and parabolas on his own, but he wanted to start off this session by going over his homework in order to make sure he understood what was going on. At first, he only mentioned the graphing aspect of the section, but he ended up doing his entire assignment over again, and felt much more confident in his understanding once finished. Afterwards, we began our review of the entirety of chapter eight in preparation for his test next Monday. He had performed well on the two quizzes in this chapter, and it was shown in our review. I went through an overview of the sections detailing the important methods and concepts discussed in each section. We did a few practice problems on special patterns of multiplying and factoring polynomials at the end of our review since this was a problem area for the student in the past. We will continue our review on Thursday afternoon with a session entirely dedicated to practice problems in order to prepare him for the exam."
"We reviewed homework on multiplying polynomials. We also reviewed previous material from the recent test."
