Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"We continued to review chapters 36 and 37. We also did practice multiple choice questions so we could get a better insight on what mistakes he is making when taking these tests. I think really taking time to learn specifics--names, events, etc.--could really help him do better on his tests."
"We covered cultural influences of the 1950s. We studied the end of WWII and the Korean War. We discussed the Truman and Eisenhower presidencies. We went through key terms and then went through multiple choice questions, and he did well. I have seen a lot of improvement in his retention, and I think he feels more confidence in the material as well."
"We went over chapters 10-13. I quizzed the student randomly on all elements of the chapters and we reviewed anything he wasn't knowledgeable of. The method of quiz-and-review seems to be the most effective at getting him to learn and remember his material. I look forward to seeing how he does on his test."
