Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"We reviewed everything for his test that he will be taking tomorrow. We covered unit conversion by converting moles, grams, and atoms between one another. We also focused on percentage composition since that was the most difficult for him. He also needs to review ratios more. I told him to let me know if he has any other questions by the end of the night since it's the last night before his test. I would also suggest that he starts reviewing the test material earlier than 3-4 days. Preparing for tests in his chemistry class by a week or even more would be beneficial to him since he also needs to cover prerequisite knowledge."
"Worked mainly on stoichiometry and empirical/molecular formulas. Covered what was on her quiz last week that she did not understand. There seemed to be a very basic understanding of what was going on, but the student had not fully grasped the concept from class. She appeared to have more fully grasped the concept in this session. She still trips up on some of the questions regarding Avogadro's number, however, with more practice this should make more sense on when to use it."
"During this session we continued to review for the student's midterm. I gave a brief overview of all the topics. Overall this session went well I told her to review test and quizzes and read chapters in the prep book."
