Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"Today we covered section 5.2 and 5.3 in her textbook from class. She struggled at first, but with more practice she began to understand more. She did a good job today."
"The student and I covered how to graph trig functions and determine the functional form of vertical and horizontal transformations."
"In this session, the student finished the section on trigonometric relations and identities. She worked through the quiz at the end of this section, which took the rest of the time."
"We covered probability and odds in preparation for a test that week. We reviewed the logic of sorting through card decks and marble problems, which also showed up on her study guide. The student felt more confident with her understanding of all concepts by the end of the session."
"We continued to go over characteristics of quadratics. It seems like the student is really grasping this concept, which is good! She has improved significantly since we began working together."
"The student and I went over some of her assignments. Most of them had to do with ratios and proportions. Many of the mistakes she made involved computational errors or not answering the question properly (such as finding an answer with units of cups instead of ounces), but her steps were mostly correct. We also touched up on a few other topics that she had questions about. We scheduled another session for April 23rd at 4pm."
